- DIY or Installation at our North Wollongong Workshop (contact us for installation prices and scheduling)
Our Troop Carrier Interior Panels are CNC machined from 4mm birch plywood and feature you choice of marine or plush carpet (4 colours available).
A great way to update the look of your wall panels / side panels in your Troopy, or simply replace some worn out factory panels.
Our panels are one piece per side, replacing the stock two pieces.
We also supply the rear door panels as part of the kit.
4 panels total.
We remove the factory plastic vents and there are some breather holes cut into the panels.
We also remove the factory jack access, as a fitout usually blocks or restricts access to this jack location. So you will need to find an alternative location for your jack (usually in a storage drawer or hatch).
1. Self Drilling Screws - Panels will come undrilled, so you can choose where you put screws to fix them to the car. We supply some small self drilling screws.
2. Rivnut (preferred) - Panels will come with holes in the factory plug locations. You will need to install rivnuts into the factory plug holes and then use bolts to secure the panels. We supply rivnuts and black button head bolts, but you will need to supply a rivnut gun (or have us install them for you). To install the rivnuts you will need to drill the factory holes out to 9mm diameter, use some rust prevention paint on the holes, and then install the M6 rivnut.
WASHER BOTTLE FILLER
Older Troopy's don't have a rear window washer, so the panel will not have a cutout for the filler.
Newer Troopy's do have a rear window washer filler. There is a hole for the filler, and you can use the factory filler cap in the new panel.
We also have plain and v-groove panel options HERE.
We can also install them for you.
$440 for rivnut install
$220 for sheetmetal screw install
